my suggestion, always used drivers from asustek download site.
updated firmware bios to 1102.
updates: bios upgraded to ver. 1301

my eeepc started to have this problem after about 6 months. my lazy solution then is just use the touchpad button features. it works like the buttons.
today, it's about time i try to solve this issue. i surf and found that most eeepc have this problem and i saw many solutions to solve it.
here my solution. using a shrickable tube used for wires. it helps make sure that the micro switch of the buttons are fully press. here the picture.

now it works like before :)
