ASUS EEEPC 900HA/XP Battery & Super Hybrid Engine (SHE)

Got my EeePC 900HA/XP/LINUX battery on ebay for 30usd. it's  6cell and seem to last 4.5 hours. The 10400mah huge battery I bought before died. after 2yrs :(
The 4 cell battery that i fixed.( pic no.1 ) still has 2 hours 50min left. (this has the battery from my old 10400mah 900ha battery.)

Super Hybrid Engine System Tray Icon Disappear or Missing.
Solution i found on the web is to clean the traynotify at registry.
regedit -> HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\TrayNotify
remove / delete iconstreams and pasticonstream.
on taskbar end explorer.exe process. then new task and run explorer.exe.
This clean your system tray and install the acpi and SHE application, Done.

Finally i got back my SHE icon on System tray. :)

my GA-8IPE1000-G P4 board bad capacitors

bad capacitors near the cpu again! 4 x 3300uf 16v. i remember replacing them 2 years ago. it will always hang when these caps starts to fails.

anyways, if my memory is correct, it's been almost 6 years old. and after my repair i think it has a long way to go.

folder or directory cannot be deleted solution

I was deleting some folders on my dns323. a message saying directory cannot be deleted pops out.
1st thing i check is maybe there are some files left at the folder but i cannot see any. i even have the show hidden/system files set to show, and still folder seem empty. am using total commander (winxp) to connect on my dns323(linux-debian) via network.

i google and found the solution here.

ls -a

did show that there files left. but using windows i did not see any. so i telnet on my dns323 to see those hidden files. then i can delete them easily.

so some hidden files on linux cannot be seenon windows?

Almost 4 days past and it seem that 2.4Ghz is more stable than the 5Ghz.

I bought this NMT around 2008 or 2009. it has 1TB internal HDD. with lots of mkv movies. some movies specially those 1080p has video problems. been doing firmware updates and still it not solve this bug. anyways i tried mkvtoolnix (mkvmerge) to remux those mkv movies and it works!

now i can enjoy movies again.
